Super Sonic Filter

The super sonic filter separates conveyed product from the air and cleans its bags with compressed-air pulses, keeping the line continuous and dust-free.

The super sonic filter is the jet-pulse bag filter that separates product from air at the end of a pneumatic conveying line. Product-laden air enters the housing, dust and flour are retained on the outside of the bags, and clean air leaves through the top to atmosphere or to the fan.

The bags are cleaned by compressed-air pulses through valves that fire in sequence. Because cleaning happens while the machine runs, the line is never stopped and the pressure drop stays constant.

Housing dimensions, bag lengths and weights are given in the model table. Bags are fitted and removed from the top without tools.
