Air Lock

On aspiration lines the space under cyclones and filters is held under vacuum. The air lock discharges the collected product downwards while preventing outside air from entering that space, which would otherwise reduce the separation efficiency of the cyclone.

The rotor turns slowly and continuously; the pockets fill with product and empty at the bottom. The close clearance between rotor and housing provides the seal without any moving gasket.

Dimensions and weights are given in the model table. The side cover opens so the rotor can be removed for cleaning and maintenance.
