The screw conveyor moves grain and ground products horizontally or on a slight incline in a trough, with several inlets and outlets possible.

The screw conveyor is a helical screw turning in a U-shaped trough. Screw pitch and speed are chosen for the flow behaviour of the product, and separate capacities for wheat, flour and bran are given in the model table.
Several inlets and outlets can be cut into the trough, and gated outlets let one conveyor distribute to different bins. Gasketed covers keep the product from dusting.
Bearings sit outside the trough so lubricant never contacts the product and maintenance can be carried out without stopping the line.
