Dry Stoner

The dry stoner removes stones, glass and metal particles that are denser than the grain. An inclined, vibrating screen deck combined with an upward air flow fluidises the lighter grain on the surface while heavy particles are carried up the deck and discharged separately.

The HK dry stoner is sized according to the capacity and air requirement given in the model table. Vibration is produced by two balanced motors; deck inclination and air volume are adjusted to the product. The enclosed housing keeps dust out of the plant.

It is installed in wheat, corn and pulse cleaning lines ahead of the roller mills and is the most economical protection against roll wear.
