Plant Revision and Capacity Increase
Machine replacement, added lines and automation that raise the capacity of existing mills by 20 to 100 percent.
Revision projects start with a survey of the existing plant and a flow analysis. Bottleneck machines are replaced with HK equivalents, missing cleaning or conditioning steps are added, and sieve area and roll length are recalculated for the target capacity.
Work is planned to stop production as little as possible; most revisions are completed during planned maintenance shutdowns. Adding automation and an extraction scale makes the new capacity measurable.
